European Fashion Visuals
While Apolda is a city clearly held hostage by the decline of it's former prosperous textile industrie, it becomes the focus of european fashion talents every three years when the Apolda European Design Award is taking place. Bauhausmaschine was invited to add another layer of fashion visualisation as background and infoscreen for the fashion show in the Apolda Stadthalle.

- Im Sommersemester 2011 werden Studierende der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Gelegenheit haben sich durch die Teilnahme an dem Fachkurs "Visionen im Raum" bei DI Stefan Kraus (MXZEHN, Bauhausmaschine) auf die TanzMedienAkademie 2011 des Kunstfestes Weimar vorzubereiten. Die TanzMedienAkademie, 2007 vom Kunstfest ins Leben gerufen und von der Kulturstiftung des Bundes gefördert, bietet jungen Choreographen und Medienkünstlern ein Forum zu interdisziplinärer Recherche. Innerhalb eines mehrwöchigen Workshops erarbeiten die Künstler neue Stücke, die abschließend öffentlich vorgestellt werden – Projekte, die mit Bewegung, Klang, Licht, Raum und Projektion experimentieren. Öffnung, Austausch, Transparenz und Zwiesprache zwischen den einzelnen Disziplinen stehen im Mittelpunkt dieses pädagogischen Konzeptes, mit dem das Kunstfest sein Interesse an avancierten Kunstformen und Weichenstellungen für künstlerische Berufseinsteiger bekundet. #
Die Bauhausmaschine
1919 Walter Gropius founded the “Staatliche Bauhaus” in Weimar. It became the most influencual design school of the 20th century. There is hardly any designer, artist or architect who is not inspired or influenced by the bauhaus. In it’s early phase in Weimar, the Bauhaus was a place for interdisciplinary experiments. Bauhausmaschine is a contemporary audiovisual art and design project created by media artists Stefan Kraus and Marc Sauter to reflect the 90th anniversary of the Bauhaus Foundation in Weimar.
